40 years old Vincent Austin and 30 years old Bruno Boolean will become France’s first gay couple to get married, just days after their country legalized same sex marriage. In the press conference the couple surrounded by their loved ones, said their union will be a symbolic movement not just for themselves. The wedding comes six months after debate and sometimes violent protest over a bill that has legalized both marriage and adoption for same sex couples.
