Christians and Muslims clash in Cairo,the capital of egypt- Five have been reported  killed
In the capital of Egypt, in Cairo there had been clashes between the Christians and Muslims. According to government newspaper reports the clashes had begun on Friday night had gone on till Saturday morning. It is reported that five had been killed and seven had been wounded.
The majority who died had been Christians. The reason for the clash had been that scribbling by Christian children on the walls of Muslim mosque

During the clashes an Anglican church in the vicinity had been burnt. The President of Egypt Mohamed Morsi after the elections had pledged that the minority Christian community would be protected. Out of an entire population of 83 million only 10% are Christians.
Against the government three states had called for an election and had staged protests. In this connection the President Morsi had promised to have an election after a period of six months probably during the month of October.
