The satellite project that cost America over 200 million $ a failure
The pentagon had decided to do away with the satellite project which had cost them over 200 m $.
A Director of an institution where advanced defence equipment is manufactured Brad Taslay had confirmed that this project will not be able to be completed as scheduled in the year 2015.
He had taken this decision after the perusal of the activities that hitherto was done. This project had been planned and commenced in the year 2006 and to date a sum of 226 m$ had been spent on it.
During the past year a sum of 40 m$ had been spent. This amount is only half the amount estimated for this satellite project. Services to a number of smaller satellites had been planned to obtain from a large satellite it is learnt that had been the objective of this project.......
This process had been planned to get a wider coverage from this project. It had been revealed that if in the event of a defect in the main satellite all smaller once too would become defective which would have to be rectified.
