Russia to sell MiG fighter jets to Syria

Russia is selling more than 10 fighter jets to the Syrian regime, MIG Corporation CEO Sergi Korotkov said on Friday. The Syrian delegation was currently in the Russian capital to sort out the contract details he said. Accordingly MIG-29MM2 jets will be delivered to Syrian president Bashar Al Assad.........

President Bashar Al Assad in an interview broadcast in Lebanon said Syria had delivery the first batch of advanced anti aircraft missiles from Russia. Russia, a staunch ally of Damascus and its main arms supplier, has defended its delivery of weapons to the conflict-torn country. Russia, the United States and the United Nations are to meet in Geneva on Wednesday to discuss a planned international conference on peace in Syria.

Russia cautions America to be impartial in the Syrian conflict

Meanwhile, Shakira has surprised herself a bit when it comes to parenting style. "I thought I was going to be super-controlling because I am like that with my songs, my career and everything I do professionally -- I like to be in charge. But with him, I’m so relaxed.
