Dubai, the proud owner of world’s tallest building as well as the world’s largest shopping complex,has accepted the challenge to create the world’s largest underwater hotel.
This hotel,named as ‘The Water Discus’ is consisting of 21 executive suits and designed by the Polish company ‘Deep Ocean’ and the ‘BIG Invest Consult Institute’ of Switzerland.
The President of ‘BIG’ Mr Bogdan Gutkowski, has told the ‘World Architecture News’ that, the ‘Water Discuss project will open many new fields of development for the hotel and tourism sectors in the coastal and off-shore areas as well as the new opportunities for ecology, supported by creation of underwater environmental protection.
He has further said that, this hotel will be used as an ocean environmental
protection and research center.
However, underwater rooms are already existing in various hotels.
