The former President Mohamed Nashedla has been detained in the Indian High commissioner’s office. Through such acts the Maldivian Islands authorities have accused India of interfering into their activities of their country. He had been retained in the Indian High commissioner’s office for a period of 11 days. The former President Mohamed Nashedla had been released only yesterday.
The accusations against him had been that during the tenure of his service he had used powers above his delegated authority. He had been summoned to courts on the 10th.As he had not attended courts had issued him a warrant on the 10th.itself.
