An emotional series of advertisements have been released in England which shows a person is smoking a cigarette with a growing tumour.These advertisements will tell the smokers that, 15 cigarettes can create cancerous tumour.
These anti smoking advertisements worth 2.7 Million Pounds will be published through Television, Internet, and Posters, until February 2013.According to the Health Department reports, people are still believe that, the health risks from smoking are greatly exaggerated.
According to Professed Sally Davies, they have to indicate the smokers that, cancer risks are being increased by every packet of cigarets, as the younger generation should be rescued from this menace.
The British Cancer Research Institute has extended it’s support to this propaganda campaign
Dr Harpal Kumar, Chief Executive of the Institute has said that, this type of anti smoking ads will induce the smokers to take their first step in quitting smoking.
This Charity Institute further says that, smoking causes about a quarter of all cancer deaths.
